A Woman's Tale

Uplifting and intimate look at the last days of an elderly cancer victim. The film is even more relevant as it was written specifically for the lead actress, Sheila Florance, who was in fact dying of cancer as she created what is essentially a self-portrait.

Martha (Sheila Florence) a bright, vivacious woman of 78 may be near the end of her life, but still has plenty of life left in her. Each day she rises to take on the challenge of simply being alive.

Everyone who comes into contact with Martha carries away a part of her spirit. Martha's radiant spirit breathes life into all who meet her.
